RMVAP is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, and your contribution makes a significant difference in our ongoing commitment to ensure our clients have access to low bono and pro bono legal representation. RMVAP operates and advocates on the belief that access to quality legal representation is paramount for servicemembers navigating the veterans benefits and military justice system, regardless of socio-economic status. Because of this, any donation you make will go directly to providing these services to veterans and servicemembers in need of assistance. The RMVAP is proud to announce the creation of The Gunny Maze Veterans Assistance Grant! Generously established by a veteran with a deep commitment to those who have served but have been left behind, the Grant funds Discharge Upgrade services for veterans who 1) have never filed claims with the VA, 2) are experiencing homelessness or extreme financial hardship, and 3) were discharged due to PTSD, TBI, or MST. A donation to The Gunny Maze Veterans Assistance Grant ensures access to life changing Discharge Upgrades services for veterans who would otherwise be unable to afford such representation.

"I have lived my entire post military life in shame after being discharged with a general discharge after a suicide attempt while serving in the Navy. I would not tell people I was in the service, I would omit my military to history from resumes and simply not talk about it. I felt as if I had failed my country, my family and myself. I learned nearly 25 years later that these discharges are often done in error, and there is legal recourse. I hired RMVAP to help me fight my injustices. Not only did Natalie, Brad and their team help me get service connected for the trauma I suffered, in October of 2022 we received some of the best news I have ever gotten! The Navy agreed that my discharge should be upgraded to Honorable, and Personality Disorder will be removed from my DD214. I don't have words for the joy I am feeling. This victory was a major weight that has been lifted from my shoulders. I am so grateful that I decided to go on this journey and I cannot thank RMVAP for the compassion and understanding they had for me and my case."

"The RMVAP was the only reason I was able to get properly compensated from the VA. I was extremely busy with civilian work and had thousands of medical records that I had to get sorted. My situation was so complex that other organizations like the DAV couldn't handle it, and it became apparent almost immediately. The RMVAP did all the hard work for me.
