The Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project’s services are limited to VA Disability Compensation Appeals, Discharge Upgrade, Family Law, and Estate Planning matters. This application is necessary to be considered for services or scheduled for an appointment. Due to the volume of requests we receive, we will contact you if we need further information and think we may be able to assist you with your legal issues. Please be as specific as possible when answering these questions, as it will greatly assist in our efforts to serve you. While we wish to serve all Veterans, we must preference Veterans from Colorado.

LEGAL SERVICES

At RMVAP, we are proud to provide:

Representation for appeals

to the VA Regional Office and Board of Veterans Appeals, and assistance filing initial benefits claims in limited cases.

Representation before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Assistance for veterans seeking to upgrade their general, other than honorable, and bad conduct discharges. 

Referrals for cases other than those related to VA benefits compensation and discharge upgrades.

Family law services including divorce, maintenance (alimony), property division, parenting time, child support, post-decree modifications, relocation, and other issues where the courts become involved with a family.

Estate planning services including last will and testament, general durable power of attorney, medical power of attorney, and a living will (also called a medical directive).
